MILEFLEX PU LAYFLAT HOSES
MileflexPu Lay-flat hoses are manufactured from forcefully ejected thermoplastic polyether located in polyurethane (TPU). They have exceedingly durable features. This hose has a support system spun from circular thin strands of polyester fleece. The ejection that occurs during the spinning process firmly bonds the linings of the hose and also covers the woven polyester.
This hose is extremely resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet radiations, hydrolysis and fungus degeneration. Because of its durability, this hose is commonly used in open pit mines. The external lining of the hose is very thick making it highly resistant to wear and tear and this helps to prolong the lifespan of the hose.
The flexibility of the spun and thin strands of polyester fleece reduces friction during towing with tractors. The interlaced strands of polyester fleece also keeps the hose from extending continuously when pulled; this helps to prevent the separation of the layers of the lining from the support system and reduces twisting.
The Mileflex PU Lay-flat hoses function properly within a temperature range of -58 degrees Fahrenheit to +167 degrees Fahrenheit and can also be used intermittently at a temperature of +176 degrees Fahrenheit.
Its standard length is 660 ft (200 meters) but longer lengths could be made available on request.
This hose is highly resistant to wear and tear caused by bumpy landscape and harsh conditions.
